Time is Running Out on Proficiency Exams
Did you pass the written exams for Asphalt Plant I, Asphalt Plant II, or Mix Design? Have you taken your proficiency exam? If you answered “yes” on passing the written exam but have not taken your proficiency exam, you only have a few weeks left in 2019. The proficiency labs will be closing in mid-December for the Christmas break. Make sure you schedule your proficiency now. All dates in November are filled, and only a few dates in December remain. The last day for Proficiency Exams will be December 18.
As a reminder, if you do not take or pass your proficiency exam in 2019, you must retake the class and written exam in 2020 before you can take the lab proficiency.
Still Need to Take MCS Credentials Exam?
The last day to register for an MCS credential exam is November 27 and the last day to take the exam is December 3. Please note, the closest testing facility to you may not be available. Therefore, VECAT staff at GCC will assign your exam where availability exists.
