I’m Ben Miller, the general manager of plants for F.O. Day Co. I joined the Virginia Asphalt Association Board of Directors in July 2022. Since that time, I have developed a genuine appreciation for the hard work that the association has conducted to promote and further the industry not only in Virginia but nationwide.
I am originally from Buffalo, New York and attended the University of Buffalo for mechanical engineering. I have been in the construction industry for 18 years, starting in the field of aggregates and later transitioning into the asphalt industry. I really enjoy the people and the pace of the industry.
Aside from work, I reside in Annapolis, Maryland, with my wife, Ashley, and our three young children. Our family is very active in the sporting community, and we enjoy playing and attending many sporting events. If we are not watching our beloved Buffalo Bills, you will likely find us spending time on the water.
