Held every three years, the NCAT Test Track Conference is a forum to present research findings from the previous cycle of accelerated pavement testing. During the two-and-a-half-day program, participants learned about advancements in asphalt pavement design, construction, technologies and maintenance. All were more cost-effective and improved performance. In addition, Balanced Mix Design and various preservation treatment technologies were highlighted with site visits to both the test track and Lee Road 159 (preservation evaluation site). The conference also provided valuable networking opportunities and set the stage for further cooperation among federal, state and local agencies and the private sector.
