VAA 70th Annual Meeting dates change

With the scourge of the COVID-19 pandemic on-going and the slower than expected rollout of vaccines to the construction community and general public, VAA has moved the annual meeting from April to June. Initially set for April 28 to 30, the new dates are June 16 to 18 at West Virginia’s Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs. VAA hopes this move to June will allow more members to attend and to bring their families to “America’s Resort.”

The move to June allowed VAA to re-plan the event. On June 16, VAA members and guests can play in the annual golf tournament on the historic White Course at the Greenbrier. Home to recent PGA events, this course will be challenging to all who play it. The next day will feature member-focused sessions in the morning, followed by an assortment of group and individual activities. The evening banquet dinner will recognize winners of the RJS Scholarships and be enlightened by Guest Speaker Karen McCullough. She will be speaking on the workforce of tomorrow. The last morning of the event will consist of industry discussions and an annual meeting of the membership.

In March, VAA will be opening up the registration for the annual meeting. Make your plans today to join others in the industry and re-establish relationships disrupted by COVID.
