The best kind of networking: RJS Scholarship golf – Richmond

With the summer waning and fall right around the corner, plans have been finalized for the Richmond Region Richard J. Schreck Scholarship Tournament. VAA is returning to The Club at Viniterra located just east of Richmond in New Kent County. Viniterra hosted past VAA golf tournaments, but this will be the first scholarship tournament. This Rees Jones designed course features over 95 sand bunkers and was “Voted #1” in 2020 by players in Golf Virginia magazine.

The Richmond tournament is the second of three golf outings planned for 2020. The first tournament at Bull Run Golf Club in Haymarket, VA raised over $16,000. Richmond-area tournament organizers hope to eclipse this total through player registrations and sponsorships.

The tournament will be held on October 13, with a high-noon shotgun start. Registration is $150 per player, and all net proceeds go to the scholarship. Boxed lunches will be provided to golfers as well as complimentary beverages on the course. Visit the VAA website and sign up today. Sponsorship opportunities for holes, longest drive, closest to the pin, and other contests are available. Contact VAA golf coordinator Mike Dudley for more details. See you on October 13 at Viniterra!
