Superior Paving Receives National Award for Equipment Management Program

Recently, Superior Paving Corporation of Gainesville received The Fleet Masters Award from the Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP) at a ceremony they hosted in San Antonio, Texas. Superior was recognized as the top company in the under $100M category. Receiving the award for Superior were Dave Helmick, Tom Eckler and Tyler Mitchell.

When asked about the award, Superior Paving’s TPR Coordinator Tyler Mitchell had this to say, “In December 2013, Superior Paving made a commitment to ourselves and our employees to improve cost efficiencies through enhanced equipment management processes. Over the past eight years, Total Process Reliability (TPR) has guided us toward increased efficiencies, reduced breakdown time and optimized how our employees utilize their time and talents. Our culture embraced TPR and believes the policies and procedures resulted in improved productivity.

This year, Superior had the honor of being awarded the 2022 Fleet Masters Award through the Association of Equipment Management Professionals (AEMP). We are humbled by AEMP’s decision to formally recognize our efforts. We would like to thank TBR Strategies, LLC (Team-Based Reliability) for their partnership through the years and their decision to nominate Superior for the Fleet Masters Award. We would also like to acknowledge that this award is in recognition of the contributions, commitment and dedication of Superior’s remarkable employees. For Superior, TPR is more than a policy; it is integrated within each of Superior’s core values of Excellence, Partnership, Integrity, and Commitment (EPIC). As we look towards the future, we will continue using the core principles of TPR to identify new ways to improve and refine our equipment management and maintenance process.”

Congratulations to Superior Paving on achieving this national award.
