Volkert, Inc. announced that as of January 2020, Keith Weakley, PE, DBIA, will be promoted to senior vice president overseeing Volkert’s Mid-Atlantic region, comprising four states (Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania) and the District of Columbia. SVP Dennis Morrison will retire in January in planned leadership succession.
Weakley joined Volkert in 2010 and is currently the chief engineer for the region, seated in Springfield, Virginia. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the design, development, and management of transportation projects. Before joining Volkert, Weakley worked at the Virginia Department of Transportation for 16 years and served as the Staunton District Structure and Bridge Engineer. Full Press Release.
