Did you sign up to be part of the VTRC Round Robin? If so, you should have your Phase I samples and hopefully have completed the testing and submitted results to VTRC. The first phase of the Round Robin is designed to assess the impacts of equipment, and other potential sources of variability on “identically prepared” samples supplied to over 50 labs. While that data is being analyzed, Phase II of the Round Robin was scheduled to begin. Phase II was going to investigate the variability associated with sample preparation for BMD testing. Participating labs would receive box samples, compact the specimens, and run a series of tests. However, due to the fiscal impacts of COVID-19, VTRC has decided to delay Phase II. Once funds are available, Phase II will begin.
