Another year of the Regional Asphalt seminars is complete, with over 475 individuals registered. The seminars started in Fredericksburg (Fredericksburg EXPO and Convention Center) on Thursday, March 2 and concluded in Roanoke (Hotel Roanoke) on Wednesday, March 8. Each seminar started with a segment on work zone safety and transitioned through key topics such as e-ticketing, materials and traffic operations specification changes, evaluating routes for density, HeadLight Smartforms, CQUIP and slurry seal in subdivisions. Each meeting concluded with a panel discussion covering the day’s topics. Given the number of questions via the Slido App and from the floor, audiences clearly found the topics and speakers engaging. Thanks to the presenters and attendees for participating in these regional seminars. Organizers are already starting plans for next year.
